www.connexions-derbyshire.org
Connexions is a youth service providing advice, guidance, support and personal development services for 13 - 19 year olds. Connexions Personal Advisors work in all schools. This is a link to the local site that has lots of useful info on all kinds of issues.

NSPCC website providing help and advice for 12-16 year olds. Contains advice about all sorts of issues affecting young people, including problems at home. You can send an eletter to an agony aunt, talk one-to-one in realtime with an NSPCC advisor or send an email describing your problem and receive a reply within 24 hours.

Website for young people set up by Cruse Bereavement Care. The personal area has useful information about how young people may react when someone close to them dies.

www.childline.org.uk
ChildLine is the free national helpline for children and young people in trouble or danger. It is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. You can also ring ChildLine anytime on 0800 1111 if you need help with problem or you can write to ChildLine, Freepost 1111, London N1 0BR (you don't need a stamp). Their website's help and advice section includes information on step families and some of the worries step children have. There are also sections on many other issues.

Site aimed at 16-25 year olds containing over 300 fact sheets. There's a section on divorce which describes some of the feelings young people may have when their parents are separating, as well as explaining some of the legal jargon to do with divorce.

Website of NCH Action for Children. It includes a section called 'It's not your fault' for people who are worried about parents splitting up. There are different versions of this for children, teenagers and parents.

Access to printable leaflets about divorce and separation for young people aged 5-8, 8-13 and over, as well as 2 leaflets for parents. Available via the government's Department for Constitutional Affairs website.

Pupiline was founded in February 2000 by Oli Watts as a result of bullying he experienced at his secondary school. It now covers far more than bullying, including information on relationships, additions and self harm.
